Siguiendo con el "fácil, fácil" y con la costura para principiantes, hoy he hecho un par de cojines para una habitación infantil. La tela ya la tenía, porque es sobrante de otros proyectos de costura pero, como consejo, podéis re-aprovechar tela de ropa/sábanas viejas para este tipo de cosas. El relleno también es reutilizado de otro cojín.
Going on with the "easy, easy" and with the sewing for begginners, today I made a couple of pillows which are perfec for a kid room.
1) Lo primero siempre es dibujar el patrón. Busca trazar siempre formas sencillas para que sea más fácil de coser. Una vez que lo tenemos, lo ponemos sobre la tela y lo sujetamos con alfileres. Calcamos el patrón en la tela y dejamos 1cm alrededor para hacer las costuras.
First draw the pattern, then copy it to the fabric. Do not forget to leave 1cm extra for sewing.
2) Encara la tela y sujétala bien con alfileres (también podéis hilvanar), cóselo teniendo en cuenta que hay que dejar un trozo abierto para poder darle la vuelta y meterle el relleno. Cerramos el hueco cosiendo a mano con puntada invisible.
Face the fabric, hold it with pins, sew all around leaving enough space to introduce the cushion filler. Finish it sewing by hand.
We´ll do the same with the other pillow and that´s all :)
